Starting at the center of Omiš, it’s a 45-minute climb to the top. The trail, clearly marked with red and white circles, involves a steep, rocky ascent with no flat sections and some scrambling towards the end. Proper footwear, like trainers or hiking boots, is essential. For seasoned hikers, it took 30 minutes to reach the top, but less frequent hikers should allocate 45-60 minutes.

At Starigrad Fortress: The main attraction here is the stunning panoramic view. There are no facilities or exhibitions at the top, so bring plenty of water. From here, you can see the surrounding mountains, the Cetina Canyon, and where the Cetina River meets the Adriatic Sea. Omis Beach also comes into view, particularly inviting after a summer hike. We spent around 20 minutes at the summit, soaking in the views and capturing photos.
