The Cetina Canyon —
now with rope rappels
Everything you love about the Cetina canyon — limestone walls, emerald pools, underground tunnels, the thundering Gubavica waterfall — with two rope-assisted rappels that transform the experience from thrilling to unforgettable. What separates Extreme from Basic
The Gubavica Descent
Rope down 60 metres alongside Croatia's highest river waterfall while your group watches from the pool below. Guides control the rope from above — you control the pace.
The Exit Abseil
A second 20m rope descent near the end of the route — a final adrenaline moment before returning to base.
All the Basic highlights, too
Swimming, cliff jumping, underground tunnels and natural pools — the full canyon experience runs beneath both rappels.

Is the Extreme tour
right for you?
No previous experience is needed — but you should be comfortable with heights and open water. If you've ever thought about abseiling, this is the best possible introduction: a guide above, a breathtaking canyon below, and the sound of a 60m waterfall right beside you.
Not sure? Your group can split between Basic and Extreme on the day — you'll still experience the canyon together.
Comfortable with heights
You'll rappel 60m and 20m. You don't need experience — but should be open to heights.
Age 8–10+ (guide decides)
Younger children are assessed by the guide. Most children from age 10 are cleared for Extreme.
All equipment provided
Ropes, harnesses, wetsuit, helmet, lifejacket — everything included in €65.
Certified guides
Licensed with mountain rescue and canyon descent qualifications. They've done this hundreds of times.
Groups can split
Some do Basic, some do Extreme — same canyon section, you all stay together throughout.
Full refund if cancelled
Weather cancellations always mean a free alternative date or full refund — never a voucher.
No hidden fees —
just the adventure
- 2–3 hrs in the canyon
- 60m rope rappel at the Gubavica
- 20m rope rappel at tour exit
