Park days start early — Plitvice is about three hours from Omiš and we want you on the boardwalks before the coaches arrive. Your guide sets the order of the four days around the weather.
Arrival on day 1, four excursion days, departure on day 6. You unpack once and stay in the same hotel all five nights.
We meet you in Split and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free — the old town, the riverfront and the beach are all a short walk away.
An early start north for Croatia's most famous park: sixteen terraced lakes linked by waterfalls, walked on timber boardwalks with a guide. Entrance fees and the drive both ways are included.
A shorter drive to Krka and the Skradinski Buk waterfalls, where the river drops over a staircase of travertine steps past restored watermills. Boardwalk loop plus time on the nature trails.
The hidden half of the trip. From the edge of town your guide takes you up onto the limestone ridge behind Omiš, to viewpoints over the Cetina mouth, the islands and the Adriatic. Back in town by the afternoon.
Klis Fortress, strung along a rock above the pass inland, then the ruins of Salona — the Roman capital of the province of Dalmatia. The afternoon is free in Split.
Breakfast, check-out and transfer back to Split. The airport is about an hour from Omiš; extra nights can be arranged on request.
Every excursion and transfer is organised by us. Outside them your time is your own — Omiš has a beach, an old town and a river mouth, and your guide will point you at the best places to eat.
Same six days, same 4★ hotel, same four excursion days. The price follows the hotel's own season calendar, so an April or late-October week costs less than one in September. Every date is priced below.
Prices run from €850 to €1,030 per person depending on the departure, sharing a Classic double room, for a group of eight, and are based on confirmed 2027 hotel rates. Your final price is confirmed on quotation. Single occupancy is available from €120 per person for the five nights; room upgrades and the city tourist tax are extra, and children under 12 sharing with two adults qualify for a reduced rate. A 10% deposit secures a place, with the balance payable in interest-free instalments.
We run this trip in four windows only — April, the first week of May, the second half of September and October — when the parks are green and quiet and the ridge above Omiš is cool enough to climb. Every departure is Saturday to Thursday, guaranteed once five places are taken and capped at 8 guests.
A departure is guaranteed as soon as five places are booked, and runs from that point whatever happens. Fewer than five, or a week that is not on the list? The same six days run as a private trip — tell us your group size and your window.
Five dinners at the hotel for €95 — about €19 a night. Dinner out in Omiš runs €20 to €30 a head, so half board pays for itself if you'd rather not think about it after a day on the boardwalks.

Half board brings dinner at the hotel every evening for €95 more per person — useful after the Plitvice day, when you get back late.
