Set off on a guided canyon adventure through one of Croatia's most dramatic landscapes — the Cetina Gorge, 45 minutes from Split. Beginning at the canyon rim in Zadvarje, you descend into a world of towering limestone walls, emerald pools, and roaring waterfalls.

Basic canyoning on the Cetina River is a guided 2–2.5 hour adventure through a 2.1km canyon section near Zadvarje, Croatia. The tour includes hiking, swimming, optional cliff jumping, underground tunnels, natural pools, and the 60m Gubavica waterfall — Croatia's highest river waterfall. Begin the 2.1km route through the gorge — swimming natural pools, navigating underground tunnels, scrambling over canyon rock and pausing at optional cliff jump points. Three scheduled activity breaks along the route.

Groups can split if some members want Basic and others want Extreme — both run in the same canyon so you stay together.
No. Every jump point is optional. Guides always provide a safe walk-around alternative for anyone who doesn't want to jump. The decision is entirely yours at each point in the canyon.
Yes — the tour is suitable from age 8 upwards. Several families with children join each week. Cliff jumping is optional at every point and our guides are experienced in leading mixed-ability groups including families.
Safety comes first. If conditions aren't suitable, we'll cancel and offer a free alternative date or a full refund — never just a voucher. You'll be notified in advance. Croatia's Dalmatian coast has excellent weather April–October and weather cancellations are rare.
You need to be comfortable in water — a swimming certificate is not required. Your guide assesses comfort before the water sections begin. All participants wear a lifejacket throughout the entire tour.
If your group has a driver, they can bring the car to Zadvarje separately — we include a local transfer back to the start point for the group's driver so they can retrieve their vehicle at the end of the tour.
The season runs April through October. June–September offers the warmest water temperatures and longest daylight hours. Spring (April–May) and early autumn (September–October) are quieter with smaller groups and cooler canyon conditions — both are excellent.
