Travel Documentation
Passport: Please ensure your passport is valid for the duration of your trip. It is advisable to carry a photocopy of your passport’s photo page in a separate location for added security.
Visa Requirements: Inquire if a visa is necessary for the countries you plan to visit based on your selected tour program. It is the responsibility of the traveler to secure any required visas. Canyoning Cetina is not responsible for decisions made by customs, police, or other government authorities regarding entry to a country.
Agency Invoice: Once your trip payment is processed, you will receive an invoice from your contact person. Should you have not received your invoice, please reach out to your booking agent.
Airline and Transfer Information
- Carefully review your airline tickets and reconfirm your international flights 72 hours in advance. For international flights, a 3-hour prior check-in is recommended.
- If arriving by train, bus, or ferry, a transfer will be arranged for you at the ferry dock, train station, or bus station in Split or Omis, as coordinated with your Canyoning Cetina booking agent.
Local Currency
- Croatian currency is the Euro (€). ATMs are available in several locations.
- Suggested spending money: 200€ per person for multi-day trips and up to 50€ for day trips.
- Example local costs (in Euros): Coffee/tea (restaurant) – 2€, Juice (restaurant) – 2-2.5€, Snack lunch – 7€, Beer – 2-4€, Wine bottle – 10€, Pizza (restaurant) – 7€, Dinner (restaurant) – 20-25€.
Baggage Guidelines
- Check with your airline for specific luggage weight and size restrictions. The typical weight limit is 23 kg.
- For ease of travel, pack light: one main bag (preferably a soft, lockable bag) and a daypack (15-20 liters).

Insurance
- We recommend purchasing comprehensive trip insurance. While all our guests are insured by our local insurance policy for accidents en route, Canyoning Cetina cannot cover medical or evacuation expenses during the trip.
At Canyoning Cetina, you will be accompanied by our team of young, seasoned, and licensed guides. Their expertise and dedication to safety ensure a secure and enriching experience. All our guides are proficient in English, making communication seamless. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your trip leader in the airport lobby, identifiable by a Canyoning Cetina sign. In some instances, our driver may welcome you, and you will meet your guide upon arrival at the hotel. Once you’ve settled in, there will be an opportunity to get acquainted with the rest of the group and attend an orientation briefing.
Engaging Activity Levels for Every Adventurer
Our trips are crafted for those who are flexible, enthusiastic, and have a zest for active living and adventure. The daily itinerary is a diverse blend of kayaking, walking, swimming, sightseeing, and exploring. Typically, you can anticipate paddling approximately 2-10 km a day (about two-three hours), although this is subject to change based on weather conditions. While prior kayaking, rafting or canyoning experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
