General Questions
Where is the start point?

The start point for each trip is marked on Google Maps. You can find those in each trip description. Scroll down until you see the map and the link to Google Maps beneath it.
When is the best time to visit?

Our season is April to October in most areas. May is usually warm enough for swimming in Dalmatia. Croatia gets busy in July and August during school holidays. September tends to be warm and sunny and the crowds are usually gone by then.
Do I have to have some special skills? Is some kind of experience necessary?

Our activities are suitable for individuals with no experience. At the beginning of every tour, instructors hold a safety briefing explaining each activity. All safety instructions are given ensuring all participants are able to perform the activity. Weather conditions are always taken into consideration.
Where are we accommodated?

You are accommodated in Split, Omiš, or Trogir, in private accommodation or 3★ hotels. This means that everybody gets different accommodation with different owners. We search for accommodation depending on the number of people in your reservation and then send you pictures.
What happens in case of bad weather conditions?

Canyoning Cetina holds the right to cancel or reschedule the order of activities in case of bad weather conditions. Safety is always our top priority.
Equipment & Safety
What should we bring? Do we need water shoes?
+
Bring some extra dry clothes to change after the trip, some snack food and water. If you have water shoes it would be great to bring them — if not, we will provide them. A towel, bathing suit and dry clothes are all you need.
Do you provide necessary equipment for adrenaline activities?
+
Yes we do. For all activities such as Rafting, Canyoning, Kayaking and Zip-lining we provide the necessary equipment. If for some reason you prefer to have your own climbing shoes or harness, you are welcome to bring it — but it is not obligatory. We will provide ours.
What gear do we get?

We will give you a life jacket, a helmet, a paddle and a neoprene suit. You will get a waterproof barrel for your picnic, towels, water, sun cream, camera or any other personal item.
Are your adrenaline activities suitable for beginners?

Yes. Rafting, Basic Canyoning and Kayaking are absolutely suitable for complete novices. All our trips have been designed with a degree of flexibility when it comes to activities.
Booking & Payment
What do I need to do to book? How can I pay for the trip?

Contact us. Bookings are done by email or online directly if you find the suitable trip for you. It is possible to pay online by credit card. You can also make a payment by bank transfer. Please let us know your preferred payment method and we will send you the details. Follow the link for more payment information.
I am travelling solo but would like to share a twin room.

You are welcome to sign up as a single traveller willing to share a room. But you have to be ready to pay the single supplement. In case we receive another inquiry for the same date, we will pair you up. If there is no other single willing to share, you will be required to pay the single supplement.
What happens if I have to cancel the trip?

Our terms and conditions cover the full cancellation policy. Please review them before booking.
Do we get a refund in case of bad weather?
+
Unfortunately poor weather is always a possibility. We operate our trips with safety as our top priority. Rain itself is not a reason to cancel a trip or grant refunds. The itineraries are subject to change depending on group abilities and preferences, weather conditions, water levels, force majeure or similar. For client safety and comfort reasons, Canyoning Cetina reserves the right to alternate the programme without prior notice.

Do you offer transfers to and from Split for the Rafting, Kayaking and Canyoning tours?

Yes we do. Roundtrip transfers from Split are possible for a minimum of 2 persons at the regular price of 25€ per person. Please contact us to check availability.
How much does transport cost for the activities on Cetina River?

The price for the regular transfer is 25€ per person from the Split area (roundtrip).
What is the price of the transfer from the finish to the start point?
+
The transfer from the finish to the starting point where you left your car is included in the price of the trip.
How will we get back to our cars? Is this transfer included in the price?
+
We will transfer the drivers to their cars and this transfer is included in the price of the trip.
Can I pay by credit or debit card at the starting point?
+
No. Only cash is possible at the starting points of our trips. Card payments are available when booking online in advance.
